About me
Pat Anderson began making ceramic sculptures over 30 years ago. She attended courses at The Cottage and Workshop Arts Centre and exhibited and sold works in galleries in Mosman and Sydney.
After a prolonged gap, during which she concentrated on turning wooden bowls, she returned to ceramics and now specialises in the use of porcelain clay. Although she has had no formal training, she has an affinity with natural substances, be it wood or clay, and the desire to produce a creation that not only pleases the eye but also satisfies the sense of touch.
Pat is a full member of the Sculpture Society and has exhibited and sold with them in various Sydney locations. In 2011 she was awarded the Sydney Sculpture School Prize at Darling Park exhibition.
